Running until June 30, 2025, this year’s edition invites university and college instructors to apply for a chance to receive one of 12 laser beam measurement instruments, free of charge. The goal: help students learn with the same high-performance tools used across the photonics industry.

Software update

PC-BEAMAGE software was updated to version 1.08.02.

Changes in this version:

• Re-enable the ability to close the software while the camera is capturing images. This feature had been temporarily removed to investigate the causes of camera deprogramming.
• Add the display of the average diameter value for all beam definitions.
• Add a feature allowing the reticle to be moved.
