Wind turbines with German technology for clean energy throughout the Ukraine
Fuhrländer AG is the first company in the renewable energy sector to obtain a building permit from the Ukrainian government for the construction of a production plant in Kramatorsk. This is a joint venture between Fuhrländer Wind Technology and its Ukranian partners. The plant was opened in the middle of July. Eastern Ukraine was selected as a location due to its good infrastructure as an engineering region and the abundance of qualified employees. “This joint venture in the Ukraine is an important part of our business strategy. In cooperation with local partners, we are able to spread our “Friendly Energy. Friendly World” vision across selected markets”, explains Werner Heer, Chairman of the Board of Fuhrländer AG.

The modern hall with a production area measuring 6000m² is designed to fulfil a monthly capacity of 15 to 18 nacelles and rotor hubs for the Fuhrländer FL 2500 2.5 MW tubine. These turbines will be constructed for the Ukrainian market. The construction of another 50 MW park is currently underway on the Crimean peninsula, for which Fuhrländer will supply plant technology from both German and the new Ukranian plant.
