Mobile biogas system from agriKomp in current television report

The mobile ‘Güllewerk’ biogas system can produce up to 120 kW of electrical output, thus realising the monetary value of manure – fast, at low cost, efficiently and without major building works.

mobile biogas systemThe ready-to-run biogas plant is simply delivered to farms by truck, like any other machine, and placed in its final position using a crane. Only a small amount of site preparation is necessary. This also saves time and money.

To increase the input of renewable resources, the Güllewerk can be retrofitted with a Vielfrass top-loading infeed unit. Adding a post-digester raises the electrical output of the mobile biogas system to up to 120 kW.

The plant is unloaded and placed in position by crane. So far, the Güllewerk is the only mobile biogas plant on the market!

“Yes, the technology is there!” is the reply our company founder and Technical Director, Robert Bugar gave to the question put to him by his interview partner, which was: “can several small Biogas plants be coupled together to form a large power station?”

“Many minis make a maxi”, this could be the motto of the Bavarian Government’s Bayernplan*. The importance of Biogas in the regenerative energy mix of the future, and how this can be implemented in practice, was the topic of the Frankenschau broadcast, which was aired last Sunday.

biogas plantDuring the broadcast, the Lehner family’s Güllewerk in Meinheim was presented as an exemplary plant. The Lehners‘ Güllewerk generates 75 kW of electrical power from slurry, solid manure, feed waste and cereal grain processing. Their residential house, farm building and the neighbouring seminar building are all supplied with heat and hot water using the thermal energy gained from the plant. You can find out more about our successful Güllewerk model here.

*Background information on the creation of the Bayerplan: In April of this year – on the occasion of the visit of Bavarian Minister President Horst Seehofer to agriKomp in Merkendorf – Robert Bugar introduced a scenario on the use of Biogas in the energy mix of the future. It was on this day that the Bayernplan ball started rolling…
