SPS IPC Drives showcases the world of automation of today & tomorrow

The outlook for the this years SPS IPC Drives exhibition again is excellent. SPS IPC Drives 2015 takes place in Nuremberg, Germany from 24 to 26 November 2015. More than 1,600 exhibitors from Germany and abroad, including all key players of the industry, present products and solutions as well as pioneering technologies for the future to the international expert visitors. They confirm SPS IPC Drives as Europe’s leading meeting point and innovation platform for electric automation.

“Industrie 4.0” on display in hall 3A

Industrie 4.0 changes the world of industrial production. The intelligent networking of machines, systems and products along the value chain creates new potentials. Industrie 4.0 is one of the topics in focus on many booths at this year’s exhibition. For the first time SPS IPC Drives offers the „Industrie 4.0 Area“, in hall 3A. The visitor can gain comprehensive information about Industrie 4.0 – the networked and continuous digital production:

  • Forum and joint stand “Automation meets IT” presents data based business models and IT based automation solutions on the way into the digital production of the future.
  • Joint stand “MES goes Automation” shows order transactions and production processes being optimized by the use of MES.
  • Special exhibition of SmartFactoryKL illustrates the intelligent factory across different manufacturers.

Inspiring events on the key industries

The German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (ZVEI) in hall 2 and the German Engineering Federation (VDMA) in hall 3 offer expert presentations and podium discussions on key industry issues at the exhibition forums. At the joint stands “AMA Centers for Sensors and Measurement” in hall 4A and “wireless in automation” in hall 10, visitors can inform themselves precisely and comprehensively about these special topics. Personal consultations enable solutions to be found for individual automation tasks.

The exhibition’s opening hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday.
