Pumpenfabrik Wangen GmbH acquires the KNOLL Progressing Cavity Pumps division

Pumpenfabrik Wangen GmbH will acquire the entire Hygienic Progressing Cavity Pumps (MX range) division of KNOLL Maschinenbau GmbH on 1 April 2019, further expanding its hygienic operations.

MX range of pumps will enrich assortment

In recent years, Pumpenfabrik Wangen GmbH has successively optimised and expanded its hygienic pump range with the WANGEN HYLINE and the WANGEN Twin NG, in terms of progressing cavity pumps and twin screw pumps.
The MX range of pumps, which the company will now acquire, is an excellent fit and will enhance this business area. Knoll would like to focus increasingly on its core business in future and is pleased to have found a high-quality and experienced partner for its MX range.

MX ideal for use in various industries

The most stringent hygiene requirements and ease of service are the top priority with WANGEN products. The MX range offers appropriate comparable USPs when it comes to stability, pressure resistance and ease of service. Their modular design and robust construction make MX progressing cavity pumps ideal for use in the hygienic field, as well as in the chemical, paint, lacquer and paper industries. A key features of the MX range is its EvenWall® technology version, which offers significantly higher pressure stability. They also provide uniquely high hygiene standards around the joints and seals.

Benefits for customers

The MX range will be handled in future through the entire Pumpenfabrik Wangen GmbH sales network as well as through existing KNOLL sales partners. Customers will also benefit from the extensive and growing Pumpenfabrik Wangen GmbH service network.

The aim of both parties is to ensure the seamless transfer of operations scheduled for the first quarter of 2019 – the products and services will naturally continue to be uninterruptedly available during this period.
