The Nuremberg automation specialist Baumüller provides technology packages with pre-programmed function modules in its Engineering Framework ProMaster, which considerably saves programming time and therefore significantly reduces overall engineering costs.

The technology libraries, which can be acquired for controls with the corresponding runtime license, are optimized in individual function module packages by Baumüller. Simple movements as well as complex processes can be adapted. In this way, functions such as winders, register controls, cross cutters, flying saws etc. can be executed quickly and efficiently. By referencing example projects, the libraries intuitively become comprehensible to the user and he has the possibility to transfer the prepared packages directly to his application. In this way machines can be designed modularly, with a function package available for each technology. As an option, the user can optimize the Baumüller libraries for his requirements by adding own function modules to the individual function modules provided in the technology package. The user-friendly and structured subdivision of the libraries into individual modules enables a flexible and easy machine programming. The validated modules allow the machine engineer to concentrate on his processes and avoid additional engineering efforts in the implementation of his machine program.
