Cellro: robot cells with the latest functionality at AMB

At the AMB in the Stuttgart trade fair centre – from 13 to 17 September – robot cell manufacturer Cellro will be presenting its latest functions. Thanks to intelligent functions such as order checking, unmanned production is more predictable than ever. Cellro is thus making the step towards unmanned production for machining companies smaller and smaller.

The latest robotic cells on show at AMB demonstrate Cellro’s vision. Cellro wants to enable machining companies to react quickly and flexibly to customer requirements. The automation of high-mix low-volume production has always been a spearhead – in addition to large series. Cellro has now automated the production of these complex order sequences for numerous customers. At the AMB, Cellro will be showing the intelligent functionality that makes this possible.

New: Order verification

One of the new functions is order verification. With this, the control system automatically checks whether machines, materials and all other operating resources are available for the orders to be executed. This enables the operator to avoid interruptions in automated production. This helps to achieve the maximum number of spindle hours.

Roadmap

Cellro has also developed a roadmap for machining companies that want to start automating production. Cellro expects the level of automation in this sector to increase rapidly in the coming years. An important factor here is the increasing shortage on the labour market.

Branch in Germany

With its trade fair appearance in Stuttgart, Cellro is entering familiar territory. The Dutch manufacturer of robotic cells wants to establish itself close to its customers in Western Europe and therefore has an office and showroom in Brackenheim (DE). A growing number of German metal companies are realising production automation together with Cellro.
