deister electronic releases new Long-Range-Reader for the automation industry

The family of the proven TSU Long-Rage Reader series by deister electronic is growing.

A strong and reliable system

deister electronic has set a high standard with its capable Long-Range-Identification Systems in the past. A strong system with a reliable detection of vehicles and objects (assets) in a wide variety of requirement areas, including any indoor and outdoor area, as well as e.g. entrances and exits for parking areas and other premises.

The TSU-220 UHF

The new TSU-220 UHF Long-Range Reader inherits the established qualities, like IP65 and IP67 protection, identifies transponders in up to 7 m distance and is built for a high class and long-lasting performance. The now supported fieldbus protocols CANopen®, EtherCAT®, EtherNet/IP® und PROFINET® enable a worldwide usage for the whole industry.

The circular polarized reading field reliably detects UHF transponders of any kind in any orientation. The status of the TSU 220 is indicated by three individual LED lights (yellow, green & red), located in the upper mid area of the device. The connection ports on the reader are designed as M12 connectors. The longevity of this waterproof connection enables a solid operation.

In addition to this flexible Long-Range-Identification System, we also develop and distribute suitable RFID transponders and special on-metal tags for individual use for everyone in the industry.
