Typical applications include machine and field device control. For machine control, DIN-Rail PCs connect to I/O through industrial fieldbus protocols. For field device control, DIN-Rail PCs connect directly to environmental sensors or devices via isolated serial ports or built in digital I/O modules.
Advantech offers two new DIN-Rail PCs, the UNO-1483G and the UNO-1372G. The UNO-1483G features Intel’s 4th generation Core i3-4010U processor with four GbE and two mini-PCIe expansion slots and is designed to handle the most demanding applications, in particular for the motion and vision control industries.
The UNO-1372G makes use of Intel’s Atom E3845 with four GB RAM and Mini-PCIe expansion to provide a high level of performance at a lower cost.
Furthermore Advantech recently announced also the launch of their first enclosure/cabinet mounted industrial computer. With an Intel i7 Quad core processor and 8 GB RAM, the new UNO-3843G is designed for applications that need processing power in a small cabinet or enclosure such as traffic monitoring or process automation. The UNO-3483G comes with several methods of quick and easy installation of itself in cabinets, of extra I/O ports and HDDs/SSDs. With Advantech’s new place-and-click snap kit mounting method it only takes one person to fit the UNO-3483G into the enclosure or cabinet thereby saving time and manpower.

iDoor Technology quickly helps users install additional I/O modules to help them with their specific configuration needs. For further quick and easy installation of hard disks or PCIe cards the UNO-3483G comes with captive thumb screws which are easy to undo without getting lost. The UNO-3483G comes with the latest Intel® Core™ i7 2.1 Ghz Ivy Bridge Quad Core Processor, 8GB DDR3L Memory, two hotswap RAID 0/1 HDD/SSDs, and one GbE port , three USB 2.0 ports, one RS-232 port, one VGA port and one Audio port.
