Distec’s new IF445 Connectivity Board enables display connection via WLAN and easy online configurations

With Distec’s new IF445 Connectivity Board users can connect to their display via WLAN and easily do all the settings online that they would otherwise have to make manually. The IF445 provides an access point to a web server for display settings. The user connects to the interface with a smartphone, for example, and controls the display via WLAN: switch the display on or off, change OSD settings such as brightness or contrast and so on.

The IF445 also offers GPIOs for evaluating data and an SPI interface. Various sensors for measuring brightness or temperature can also be connected via an I²C interface.

Distec designed the IF445 to have exactly the same dimensions as its OSD board. Therefore users can also easily upgrade existing applications to the online version IF445. Only other EMC values due to the WLAN antenna have to be taken into account.
