Distec introduces its new modular 4K monitor series PLUS-Line

In the display market, 4K screens with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels are becoming the standard. The high resolution ensures a very clear, detailed image and can display four times as much content as a full HD screen. With these modern displays, Distec has developed the new, modular 4K monitor series PLUS-Line. The robust, slim monitors can be perfectly adapted to the requirements of user application with various options. The PLUS-Line stands for the highest quality and is designed and manufactured in Germany.

The PLUS-Line monitors are suitable for continuous operation 24/7 and are initially available in diagonal sizes of 55 and 65 inches. Many other sizes will follow soon. The basic version of the PLUS-Line is an open frame monitor with a black, powder-coated steel housing and is available in two variants:

The P4K variant is equipped with an industrial 4K TFT controller, the IQi5 version is a complete panel PC with the new Intel® Core™ i5-1145G7E processor. This is installed in a PC box that is mounted on the back of the monitor. This not only greatly simplifies maintenance, the external PC box can also be used by the customer to quickly convert the P4K version into a panel PC if required.

Various frame options give the PLUS-Line Open Frame Monitor an elegant design. A TrueFlat glass, for example, ensures an even, modern surface with a smartphone look. It consists of 4mm safety glass and is also available in combination with a PCAP touchscreen with 20 touch points, making it ideal for interactive applications. If the monitor is not installed, an additional glass protection frame provides protection and a beautiful look. All frame solutions are available on request in desired RAL colour, with colored back printing or logo print.

If the monitor is installed and sealed off from the wall accordingly, it offers IP 65 protection against dust and water jets on the front.

Not just looking for a monitor, but a multimedia system? Then simply equip PLUS-Line monitors with the new mediabar. It is available with desired equipment, such as stereo speakers, microphone and webcam, but also with various sensors that measure the CO² content of the room air, switch the monitor on and off automatically or adjust the screen brightness. This ensures a good indoor climate, saves electricity and thus also unnecessary costs. The Mediabar is simply attached to the PLUS-Line monitors and can also be retrofitted at any time. Perfect for meeting rooms and convention centers.
