FAULHABER Introduces Advanced Complete Solutions for Drive Technology

FAULHABER expands its portfolio with new sizes of SXR motors and the powerful GXR family. The 1627 GXR brushed motor with copper-graphite commutation delivers high performance and versatile configuration options, including voltage ranges from 4.5 V to 24 V, various bearing setups, and modifications for vacuum or high-temperature environments. Optimized rotor balancing ensures smooth operation and long motor life.

Enhanced SXR Motor Family

The new 1627 SXR extends the existing 1218 and 1228 models, offering an outstanding power-to-volume ratio. Its premium construction and high-quality magnets ensure temperature stability and reliable performance, making it ideal for high-tech industries. All SXR and GXR components are RoHS-compliant, and electrical connections provide flexible configuration options.

Integrated Planetary Gear Solutions

GXR and SXR motors can be combined with FAULHABER GPT metal planetary gearheads. The new 16GPT is diameter-compatible and designed for compact applications with limited space. Its optimized design allows full utilization of the motor’s speed range while transmitting extreme forces reliably and handling higher loads effortlessly.

Precision Magnetic Encoder IEX3

The IEX3 and IEX3 L encoders feature advanced chip technology with high resolution and typical position accuracy of 0.3°. Supporting voltage ranges from 3.3 V for battery-powered applications up to 5 V, and operating temperatures from -40 to 100 °C, these compact, maintenance-friendly encoders integrate seamlessly with SXR and GXR motors. Optional Line Driver versions increase flexibility for diverse applications.

By combining FAULHABER SXR and GXR motors, GPT planetary gearheads, and IEX3 encoders, engineers benefit from compact, powerful, and reliable complete drive systems.
