Han® F+B cable-to-cable hood feature strong IP67 / IP69K protection classes and ensure that flexible, food-safe cable extensions can be carried out in the food industry. The special easy-to-clean design prevents dirt pockets from forming on cabling, meaning the system can be used on equipment in the splash zone.

The patented design features large radii and especially smooth surfaces, in keeping with the principles of the EHEDG guidelines. Han® F+ B couplings also enable the easy upgrade of previously non-extensible connections in the food and beverage industry, facilitating the rapid installation of end-devices such as fans, heaters or motors.

The connectors are particularly distinguished by their wide offering of different contact configurations. Currently, 25 different inserts are available for the connection and transmission of bus systems, signals and power (up to 40 Amps).

In addition, the special “cap-in-cap” design of the protection caps, i.e. the screwed connection of the hood cover with the gland cover, ensures the simple, dirt-pocket-free storage of the covers at the point of use.
