HARTING presents its new Han-Fast® Lock PCB connector

With the Han-Fast® Lock, connecting to printed Han® industrial connector’s circuit boards is quick and easy. New contacts now offer even more ways to leverage space-saving PCB contacting.

The Han-Fast® Lock PCB connector easily meets the demands posed by high electrical currents while offering simple handling and efficient size. Compact, flexible and simple contacting is produced without the need for additional components. Only a single contact point is required for the connection. The printed circuits are through-plated and provided with a drill hole and support point. The product portfolio now includes new angled variants as well as contacts for cross sections of 1.5 mm2 to 10 mm2.

The assembled contact is inserted into the prepared PCB and the included mandrel is pressed in in order to lock it to the PCB. The functionality is remarkably simple and is similar to a typical push button. In addition to the technical parameters, the development effort also emphasised optimised processing. As a result, the overall costs of PCB manufacture are optimised while equipment costs are reduced.
