Where information processing, energy supply and kinetics come together particularly the coordination of the components, is important. The online tool “QuickRobot” from igus reduces the configuration to only a few clicks. The robotics configurator from igus comprises of around 2.000 different variants of 79 robot models. By entering the name of the robot manufacturer and the model series, the appropriate and complete equipment for the six axes will be displayed within seconds. The desired size of the chain in accordance to it’s diameter can also be selected in German or English, “QuickRobot” means simple configuration.

triflex R: The safe umbilical cord for each robot
Robots have specific demands to energy supplies, especially in respect to the mobility. Due to the round design of the chain links, the series triflex R offers the required multi-dimensional flexibility. Easy to assemble and fill, the energy chain from igus protects moving cables in any direction consequently increases the service life. With more than 100 available components, triflex R can be used for robots of different sizes – from large welding robots to small palletizing robots.

The configuration via “QuickRobot” goes hand in hand with an integrated operating system. Such way, the individual product package can be made and ordered instantly.
