KSB SupremeServ uses reproduction process to fullfil urgent demands for needed spare parts

The measures currently in force to combat the coronavirus are having an impact on the economy worldwide as production facilities often lack urgently needed spare parts. KSB helps in case of emergencies and bottlenecks. To do so, the pump and valve manufacturer makes use of the reverse engineering process.

Using this reproduction process, the specialists from KSB SupremeServ also manufacture original parts for rotating system components that are no longer available. For this purpose, KSB only needs a sample for 3D measurement and the required material. The advantage: the process is suitable for all makes.

Of course, the company also supplies KSB spare parts for pumps and valves over a tightly knit service network worldwide. With particularly short delivery times, KSB ensures that the required spare parts reach the operators quickly.

Due to the difficult spare parts situation, system operators are already having to curb or even stop their production, and supply chains are faltering. Especially companies from the so-called critical infrastructure sectors require reliable parts for replacement in their systems. This applies, for example, to power plants, waterworks, chemical plants and refineries.
