Oceaneering International announces that Fraser Thomson, Principal Engineer for our Manufactured Products business in Rosyth, Scotland, has been shortlisted for the 2025 Offshore Achievement Awards’ Industry Expert category.

“Fraser is our go-to engineer for tackling technical challenges, whether during development or execution,” said Shaun Roedel, Senior Vice President of Manufactured Products. “His innovative designs and problem-solving expertise drive the creation of industry-leading products, enabling flawless execution that exceeds our customers’ expectations.”

With more than 30 years of experience, Fraser has played a key role in advancing subsea umbilical technologies—pioneering high-collapse resistant hoses, contributing to the development of API 17E standards, designing manufacturing facilities, and mentoring the next generation of engineers.

The Offshore Achievement Awards recognize outstanding achievements in the energy industry, including innovative technologies and significant individual contributions. The awards give recognition to those who go above and beyond in the energy sector. Winners will be announced at P&J Live in Aberdeen, UK, on Thursday, March 13, 2025.
