The Tab-IND series, developed by Pepperl+Fuchs in collaboration with its Finnish subsidiary Aava Mobile Oy, offers rugged, Windows-based tablets designed for the intralogistics, manufacturing, and automotive industries, as well as for outdoor applications. Available in 8-inch and 10-inch display options, these tablets are built to withstand tough environments, complying with MIL-STD-810H standards.

Equipped with a 13 MP camera and a bright display (700 and 800 cd/m²), these tablets can be operated with a pen or gloves. Security features include support for the latest mobile communication standards like Wi-Fi® 6E, Bluetooth® 5.3 BLE, 5G, and LTE. The tablets also incorporate a fingerprint sensor for quick authentication and an NFC reader for secure, noncontact data transfer. The large display and integrated NFC module facilitate secure access and identity control for protected areas and systems. The Push-to-Talk over Cellular function (PoC) and a customizable button enhance the device’s functionality.

Optimized for Intra- and Transport Logistics
With accessories such as a compatible scanner frame, the Tab-IND tablets extend their functionality to barcode scanning, transport tracking, and warehouse picking. The smart back function allows users to add external batteries or special holders, extending runtime and enhancing versatility. Custom extensions, such as adding communication interfaces like Industrial Ethernet or IO-Link, are also possible. An available IO dock enables use with external devices and displays, supporting both mobile and desktop modes.
