With the new Quasi Absolute Encoder (QAE) software feature, Dunkermotoren presents an intelligent and cost-efficient solution for precise positioning – without the need for homing, additional components or batteries.

The QAE automatically saves the current position in the event of a power failure and reliably restores it when restarting. This eliminates the need for homing – a decisive advantage for applications where time, space and reliability count.

Maximum integration – minimum complexity

The QAE is fully compatible with all dPro and dMove Co drives from Dunkermotoren. In combination with a dPro motor, the system achieves a singleturn resolution of 4096 cpr. Even the smallest deviations after a power failure are automatically corrected – ideal for self-locking applications such as gearboxes with holding brakes.
