Railway cable for outdoor use – SAB RailLine 560

With the SAB RailLine 560, SAB Bröckskes brings a permanently flexible cable with outstanding properties to the market. Using state-of-the-art materials, the cable manufacturer has succeeded in combining technical properties to enable completely new areas of application with EN 45545 certified products.

The halogen-free cable with the highest level of flame protection and non-toxic properties is able to withstand the effects of the weather in outdoor applications and is also oil and fuel resistant. In addition, it is resistant to mechanical effects and thus also intended for permanently flexible use in drag chains on railway construction machines or in door controls in public transport.

Due to these extraordinary properties, it can also be used in the bogie, as a sensor cable on the wheelsets or as a jumper cable.

Whether as control cable with 300/500V nominal voltage, as shielded version, as paired data cable or in the version with 0.6/1 kV nominal voltage, this cable is available from SAB Bröckskes and certified according to the highest European fire protection standards and tested by independent fire protection institutes.

The cables are tested at the highest hazard level – HL 1 to 3 – for indoor and outdoor use according to EN 45545.
