Robot System Products selected as supplier of tool changers for production of the Mercedes A Class

Robot System Products is proud to be selected as the supplier of Tool Changers for Body In White robot applications. The TC500-SWS/MH features the new generation of TrueConnect with unmatched accuracy and reliability.

We have installed over 100 Tool Changers serving 250 tools and this represents one of our largest order this year.

Due to the excellent cooperation of the Valmet Automotive and RSP teams we managed to complete the installation in less than 3 months.

A great example for the durability of Robot System Products is the following:
In 2004 Robot System Products AB delivered five spot welding tool changers for pneumatic gun, TC350-SWP with article number P6633, to Volvo in Torslanda, Sweden. They have been running smoothly and have been used in a two-shift operation since then.

In June 2013 the first of the five tool changers, serial number 0023, was returned to RSP for service. This means that the spot welding tool changer has been in operation for 16 hours a day for the past 9 years.
