New updates for SIGMATEK’s Remote Access Platform brings greater flexibility and intuitiveness

Access machines and systems remotely – worldwide: With the Remote Access Platform or RAP, SIGMATEK has already been offering a secure, web-based option for remote services for some time. Whether monitoring, remote maintenance, debugging, initial start-up, software updates or data insights using the cloud platform that allows safe access (VPN) 24/7, manufacturers can maximize the efficiency of their machines and systems.

In the new version of the browser-based remote solution, even more focus was placed on the user’s needs. With a new graphical user interface, improved user management, as well as the option for two-factor authentication, the platform is even more flexible and intuitive.

In the clear operating interface, the user can easily create personalized dashboards and machine pages – for different machine types, groups, customers and users. In the new “live view”, the actual status of individual machines is visible.

“Machine cards”, which are similar to quartet cards, provide a quick overview of all devices and can be individually designed. The visualization of the connected machines can be operated over VNC or a web server as if one were directly on site.

Messages and alarms can be configured via “Cloud Notify” and with “Cloud Logging”, deep insights into the machine are provided. The data or reports collected here can be exported for further processing. Important correlations between process data can thereby be achieved.

The connection to the RAP can be made using a router (Ethernet, 4G or Wi-Fi) or via SIGMATEK CPUs with the operating system expansion Remote Access Embedded. For mobile access, the SIGMATEK Connect app is available.
