Stäubli Electrical Connectors launches a new module for the latest CombiTac direqt modular connector generation, the Last Mate First Break Module (LMFB). The modules are used for monitoring purposes and indicate whether a CombiTac direqt is fully connected.

Last Mate First Break modules confirm to the user whether the modular connector system is 100% connected, before enabling power transmission through the electrical contacts. Monitoring the connection status is typically required in applications where the user needs to remotely monitor and control a series of CombiTac direqt modular connectors.

The advantage:

  • Simultaneous monitor and control numerous connector points from a single control area
  • Guaranteed and error free connection status of power contacts
  • Tool free assembly
  • 10,000 Mating cycles

CombiTac direqt features a modular design, which allows the integration of various connection modules such as power, signal, and pneumatic in a single compact frame for panel mount or housing applications. CombiTac direqt can achieve up to 10,000 mating cycles and high power over 350 A. Featuring low contact resistance and resistance to shock and vibrations for long life performance, and manual assembly of all components without the use of tools to ensure fast maintenance.
